We all know how well hair jigs work on Lake Erie's spring reef bite. But, too many are overlooking the waters from Lorain to Cranberry Creek right on around to Turtle Creek. There are plenty of resident Walleye near shore in all these areas so don't rule it out. Won't be long and you'll be able to try em out. I had a lot of customers, charters among them, doing some fantastic things right out front from the Vermilion River on down to in front of Woody's place in Cranberry. Also, don't put the jigs away as soon as the Eye bite is done. These jigs are one of the very best for Smallmouth Bass and this type of hair is used by Smallmouth jig makers all over the country and fished all year long.
NOTE: I am in the process of transitioning all jigs to red hooks as current bronze inventory is depleted.

WALLEYE HEAD HAIR JIGS
This tapered head resists snags exceptionally well when fishing around wing dams or rocky areas for those finicky Walleyes. The Round bottom allows for a slower fall while the tapered sides allow for a quick snap back. Very effective on Lake Erie's Reef complex.
